How can I get rid of snow from a driveway?

If you haven't heard, there is a winter storm hitting the south and unfortunately, I live in the south and I didn't think it was going to be this bad. Anyways, I didn't buy a snow plow and all the stores are closed and now I'm using a rake. Is there a better way to get rid of it?
