Halloween changed to tonight for some places, religious ppls thoughts on Halloween landing on a Sunday?

Why has Halloween been changed to tonight for some people? It's like moving Christmas, New Years, or Thanksgiving. And what are thoughts of very religious people because of Halloween being (Nationally) on a Sunday? Are they offended because their holy day is also a day when others will celebrate a holiday they consider "Unholy" Why is it that they act so harshly to Halloween, and have certain feelings about films/tv shows that taalk about the holiday, or contain people celbrating it, like "Monster House" or the Halloween TV special of shows?
