My boyfriend doesn't like talking small thing out, simple misunderstanding and i'm the opposite. what to do?

my boyfriend hates talking little problems out and says i make big deal out of everything. my point is talking is never an argument, it's a way of communicating what he thinks and feels and so as what i am. i believe that small problems when not properly talk about can lead to big issues. talking in calm ways is never a problem but i don't know what's his problem with that, i tried to explain many times but he never understand... i'm a girl and a guy that can understand this can comment bellow so that if my boyfriend reads a guy's thought maybe he'll consider...
