Do you use an embly Lubricant?

It depends on what you are embling as to the use of products . The connecting rod on my John Deere 14hp Kohler requires motor oil on the threads . embly lube is used on bearings and cams for start-up protection . Anti-seize is used on aluminium parts with bolts that thread into them to resist galling on disembling . Thread lock is recommended for parts that are prone to vibration . You do not use any lube or compounds on head bolts unless other wise stated due to expansion . So it is a bolt by bolt question and not a Yes or no deal .
